Inside Out / Outside In

Jo made this visualisation of how a back projection of Sue's image might look in the streetscape at dusk. We hoped that this would be the kind of intervention that might be happened upon, and ask questions of the viewer.

We also decided to develop the idea of the tree inside the house (see model below) as a projection of foliage moving in a breeze. Although inspired by the idea of temporarily  installing a genuine tree or group of trees (perhaps like 'Waygood Wood' in Newcastle) we recognised that this would not be achievable within our very tight time scale. Projection offered a way of interpreting the idea along with a light source, which fitted the brief well.
